So we are at two weeks plus countdown to the end of our stint here in USA. Usually people will just say stuff like "time flies..." and "it seemed like only yesterday..." BUT NOT FOR ME. It seemed like EONS!!!! And it cannot get ANY sooner. I CAN OFFICIALLY SAY 老娘畢業了!!!!!!!!!!!!
But the sad part is, I might actually miss this place. Not the cooking and getting cooped up at home looking all frumpy of course. I will miss the traveling and shopping for sure. Just a few days ago I was reminiscing laying by the pool of MGM in Las Vegas in the hot summer sun. And hubs said "LETS GO!!!" and I was like "YOU SIAO!!!" That crazy boy is gonna miss this place even more than me. Especially the SLK. *rolls eyes* But Im glad. No more top-down. Looks cool. But the mess it creates to your hair - uncool.
80% of packing done.
90% of Juicy's import stuff done.
80% of stuff I wanna buy , I bought. (I think)
70% of the places I wanna go, I went.
It still feels a little surreal after 2.5 years here. Dont know how to put it. It just feels like one of those hometrips. But the reality is, Ive got a whole nightmare of a life waiting for me back home. Work, renovations, wedding...Im just trippin' thinking about it all.
The house is more or less empty. No TV, no computer table, and trying to make do with the unsold beside tables for our computers. Neck aches like a bitch after prolonged computer usage. And that's like...all the time.
Ive been doing some last minute shopping of all the stuff I NEED to buy before I go back. What? If something costs half the price here compared to SG, then its a NEED.

On a side note, the Clarisonic has been a surprise. I was a little skeptical of it as the hype was crazy. Macys, Dillards, everywhere. But amazingly, it works! After the first use, I just felt my face so clean and soft to touch. Im sold. A little pricey but worth it. Got mine in Lavender. I wanted the limited ed prints but why pay extra for something you just keep at home.
Contents of boxes have been revealed a few posts back. I have to do something about my shoe boxes. I cant bear to throw them away but they are really take up so much unnecessary space.
I swear Im gonna miss this SO BAD. And all the cheap B&J pints too.
Some of these are pictures taken by my lousy iPhone (not even 3GS) camera. Lousy quality I know. On the topic of phone. Ive been trying to decide what phone to get when Im back, weighing the pros and cons of the iPhone4 and the Blackberry Torch. It seems like Im leaning towards the BB Torch. The touchscreen really doesnt work for me. But still thinking though. Im just worried after I sign for a BB plan, I decide its not what I want, and I cant switch to an iPhone cos of the different data plan. Decisions...

Im happy to say, Juicy's blood test results are here! 2-6 months my ass. Now all I need to do is bring AVA's letter to the base vet to get them to write me a letter (rolls eyes) and Im back on track.
And we're down to the last 7 days of Feb! Im super pumped and psyched! Obviously cos Im heading to SG in 2 months plus. Unfortunately Im still not in time to celebrate my birthday in SG. But at least its not TOO belated. Id just be celebrating it in SG 2 weeks late.
Ive been in a really happy mood lately. Partially obviously due to the fact that home is oh-so-near. I also managed to make a few retail therapy purchases, plus...IMMA BE IN ORLANDO IN 4 DAYS!!! :D Seriously, theres Disneyland.......and then there's DISNEY WORLD!!! 4 whole days of Disney goodness omaigawd. Its pure heaven. Cherry on top of the icing - Imma be staying in one of the Disney Resorts! *grins*
On to my retail therapy. I havent smiled so hard in my entire life when I saw racks upon racks of shoes on sales in Dillards. Usually by the time I get there, half of them are gone. But this time I unknowingly went in early on a Friday, and lo and behold...it was PARADISE. I felt my heart rate go faster as I scoured the racks and carried like almost 7-8 boxes of shoes to find a seat to sit down and try them all. Round 1 ended up with 2 pairs cos I had to 忍 cos I told myself, Id still need ammo for Orlando. I went back again the next week, just to take a look. And to my amazement, they added a pair that Ive aimed for awhile to the sales racks! OMG Dillards stalking me or smth? I remember distinctly telling Jon the week before that Id buy that pair if it went on sale. THEY HEARD ME.

This, is the very last pair I grabbed at the sale. I knew I shouldnt. But it was impossible for me to put 'em back on the rack. IMPOSSIBLE, spelt with a capital I.
This love for shoes is slowly pushing me to brokedom.

So the last time I REALLY updated is on New York. Since then, there's Vegas, LA, and Salt Lake City all over again. Last round of big trips before I head back SG in a couple of months. So broke I cant even begin to describe.

Its been so long since I really properly blogged about anything happening in my life. Hell, Ive been staying at my new house for a couple of months now and I havent even taken any pics. What have I been doing? Honestly I have absolutely no idea. *shrugs*
So finally Im gonna start my countdown back to home!!! 8 months to go. THIS IS GOOD. HOMEHOMEHOME. HELL YEAH. I wanna eat tabao food EVERYFUCIKIN'DAY. *double thumbs-up*
Just got back from a long weekend trip from LA & Vegas (again) last month. Honestly so tired of posting pics already. Post at FB good enough right? Doubt theres anyone reading my blog that isnt on my FB anyways. If there is, do a shout out and maybe I would start my picture posting again.
So its gonna be almost a year since I brought my overbite babygirl into my life. One of the best things that ever happened to me. Think I wouldve gone mad if not for her. Now she's like this clever little ball of fur (or lack thereof) that likes to climb into my bed in the middle of the night to snuggle. Super AWWWW... Anyways now Im immensely paranoid about her flight back to Sg in 8 months. She's gonna be super freaked out la! She's an awfully big scaredy cat who just jumps at any sudden noise. Even if I drop my hair clip on the floor she also can jump and flee. How the hell is she gonna survive almost 18 hours (minus transit time) in cargo all alone in a crate!!! *cries dramatically* Then after the long awful flight, she still gotta spend like 10 days in quarantine all alone again. OMG I CANNOT IMAGINE. How how how... I dont know how.
And if there's one thing I miss terribly, its THIS.
THIS AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT CAME WITH IT.

MIA-ed for super long. Cos of the massive house-moving!!! Goodbye Hickory Circle, Hello Holly Court!!! (Both also H.C. lol) Ultra drained everyday with all the packing, moving, cleaning, unpacking, cleaning, packing... good workout, I guarantee it. New home is mucho comfy. LOVE~
Still got one buncha pics from a farewell luncheon at Tucanos to be blogged.
