me and dar went to view the showflats for city view @ boon keng over the weekend. yes yes, some of u may think its abit to soon to be thinking abt getting a flat and all, but if u think abt it, the flat takes 3 years to build. and by the time its done, its almost time!!! i dont wanna get married old also anyway. haha.
the amt of pple at the showflats was insane!! there was a queue to get into the showflats area, and another queue to actually enter the showflat unit itself. the property agents couldnt even properly explain and 'sell' the unit as they had to get pple in and out of the area fast. so basically u just go in, walk one round and go out.
the unit itself was quite nicely done up. the bay windows were especially nice. gives u a great view of the outdoors. although firstly u gotta get a high enough unit to allow a great outdoor view. esp of the kallang river and fireworks at esplanade area. that, u would need to get the 5-room units. and those units were rather expensive.
here's the downside. the units are unbelievably small!! lets talk abt the living room. theres space of 1 two to three seater couch, a tea table and thats it. tv will have to be flatscreen mounted on the wall. theres not even enuff space for cabinets or even a decent hifi set. DOHHH. dining table will be crazily cramped. and rooms are really just enough for sleeping. even the master bedroom has not enuff space to slot in a dressing table. 1 king sized bed in the room will leave enough walking space and thats abt it. gosh...
so ya, prolly gonna keep a lookout for others i guess. tee hee...
