in a few hours time i'll be strolling along the beaches of koh samui. WHOOPEE!!! *skips around* haha ive been anticipating this trip all week. i can finally frolic around the waters and sandy beaches of samui. now there's only one question in my mind - "is there dinner on bangkok airways?" they arent budget airlines so by right they should lar. but by left... i duno. will update again when i find out. hee hee!
one small hiccup though. my digicam's left with the last bar of battery. hope it survives till we reach our villa if not i wont be able to take pics on the way.
ooh, theres this super duper cute angmoh baby with the mother. looks like she jumped out from a baby commercial. kidnapping should be legal at this point of time.
took a stroll in T3 just now. other than the architecture, nothing much to wow about. shopping is boring, and the whole place so empty. too quiet lar. too little flights there i suppose.
brother's heading to aussie for studies tomorrow. wont be able to send him off. bah!

i am in a huge mansion. i have to choose from two men in my life. men that i both have feelings for. i can only pick one. (ok very reality series) i choose one. i choose to get engaged to him. i walk down the aisle and meet him at the other end. he says his vows. and when its time to say mine, it hit me. i have been in love with the other all along. (lets call him mr j) i dump my fiance at the alter and run off in search of mr j. i comb the entire huge mansion in tears and hope that mr j hasnt left. i find him standing in the middle of this study room. i run towards him and he embraces me in his arms. we kiss.

DAR DAR BOUGHT US MATCHING BRAZILIANO PRAIAS!

attended june's wedding over the weekend at Conrad. quite blown away actually. everything was so beautifully done up, and she looked amazing! absolutely loved her princessy wedding gown! well, unfortunately i dont have any photos. my little hand-carried bag was too small to fit my lumix.
dinner was quite good actually. i never have high expectations for wedding banquet food. after all, the main focus isnt really the food. but it was really quite good! we didnt have to help ourselves to the main platter that's usually placed in the revolving centre of the table, cos we were served course by course individually. i like the idea! we even had a whole mini abalone each! yummers... and in one week i had 2 servings of sharks fin. one was during dinner with me and dar's families, and one at this wedding. lucky me! *grins*
halfway thru dinner our table mates decided to play drinking games with the wine. and already 3 or 4 were halfway high from the red wine. a few tables away, other colleagues were already tipsy. woohoo~
two wedding videos were showcased. one of how the two of them met and how the love blossomed, and one of the morning pick-up-the-bride mayhem. very sweeeeeet!!! can cry... but i didnt lar. notable part of the videos was the proposal. kenneth proposed at the night safari and even did a tribal dance! that was quite cute lar. now my standards of my own proposal and wedding just got raised a notch. (HINT HINT!!!) heh heh! quite a memorable wedding i must say.
recently got addicted to poupee thanks to mabel and xiuhui. haha its really fun leh! i feel like a little girl again. haha. but im really slow lar. my little poupee girl hasnt had more than 2 changes of outfit till now.

a whirlwind of a weekend i must say. had a saturday off followed by another off day on monday. long weekend for little me! but it wasnt all perfect as i had planned.
friday night was spent without dar. no one to hug to sleep for that particular night. got awoken early in the morning on saturday by an overhyperactive him who keeps jumping on me to get me to go for an early morning breakfast with him. well, i was terribly sleepy as it was still 8am in the morning, so i tried my best to ignore the jumping boyfriend and went back to sleep. the boy occupied himself with the computer a little, and then disturbed me a little, before hiding in the blankets with me. the next thing we knew, we slept till 11plus. then i had to DRAG myself awake and get ready for some shopping at simlim sq.
shall cut the long grandmother story short and say we both got our buys. he bought himself a flight simulator game, and i bought me the long awaited DS LITE!! woots!! well, we had a whole lof of hiccups, and i didnt exactly walk out of simlim sq a happy girl. but that's a story for us to know and for no one else to find out. (unless of course, i tell u!) we then caught hulk later in the night. nothing fantastic. i preferred ironman. i liked the funny ending where tony stark does a guest appearance though. heh.
slept late cos he was busy with flight simulator and me with Trace Memory on DS. digress, i finished Trace Memory! omg its sucha mindblowing game. and by mindblowing i mean really USE YOUR BRAIN kinda game. not those brainless u punch me and power combo u kinda game. heh heh. i wuv my DS!
woke up late on sunday and went to get ready for the evening bbq. it was an important day for me and dar so we really wanted everything to go well. prepared everything we have to, and played with my DS here and there. accidentally poked myself in the finger while poking satay sticks in chicken wings. and from then on, it was fun all the way! dar's parents came over to my place to meet my parents for the first time! i was initially nervous and excited at the same time. nervous cos i duno if they might hit it off well. it turned out that i had absolutely NOTHING to worry about! they hit it off darn well. me and dar just kept ourselves busy with all the bbqing. we were the chefs of the day, while the rest of them pigged out. after bbqing, and eating, me, dar and his brothers went to the basketball court to play a bit of bball. yes of cos not me. i was busy 'cooking' on my DS. hee. Cooking Mama 2 is so fun! after everyone went home, we were too pooped to move. i had a great nights sleep, obviously. i was even too tired to dream.
monday afternoon. me and dar KTVed at top one. i prefer top one anytime to kbox or partyworld. the two latter are just overrated. afterwards it was walk here, walk there. and then went home. watched abit of dvd and played abit of Mario and Bomberman, and then sleeptime.
sigh, long weekends fly past so quickly, and workdays crawl by like a handicapped tortoise.
note to self: you're overspending. time to cut down!

im developing a headache in the midst of work. urgh. not good. lets hope the cuppa coffee im downing is gonna help.
lunched with sam just now when she came down to town to find me. luckily, if not i think i'll be spending my lunchtime alone. so poor thing. anyway she chipped a tooth whilst chewing on the thick skin of a roast pork piece. the poor dear lost her appetite instantly. hehe. i wish i we were all working near one another. at least id be looking forward to lunchtimes. sighs.
PC show over the weekend at suntec. its a sign. im destined to get a new desktop.
I WILL MAKE YOU MINE OVER THE WEEKEND. i swear it! *smothers kisses all over the pretty computer* wireless computers are one of the best inventions. everytime i use a computer the wiring will just piss me off so badly. i hate wires. wires are annoying. they are useless. everything should be wireless by now. even the pc i use at work now has annoying wires. grrr.
stupid people ought to be shot. i meet stupid people everyday at work, and i wanna shoot em. downright outrageously STUPID idiots. total fucktards. they raise my blood pressure. i seriously wonder if they're just BORN STUPID or stupid by choice.
anyways, i'll be able to upgrade my mobile plan soon. but i dont see any good mobile phones out there. i dont need a phone with alot of functions. i just need a standard phone that looks good :) i only have one in mind right now. the nokia 8600 luna.
unfortunately its a tad outdated. been released for quite a while. i wonder if singtel still carries this phone at all. *scrowls* if not i'll be having a hard time trying to figure out which phone i want. recommendations, anyone?

i need a new computer. i fucking hate my current one. ive condemned it to no end. in fact, i wish i could just chuck it down to rubbish chute. i have no idea why it likes to die on me so much. honestly, i did NOTHING to it watsoever. ever since the new computer came, it has died countless times. i lost count of how many times, really. so now my topmost priority in my wishlist is most probably my NEC powermate. never trust pcs that are put together with parts bought from all over simlim sq. thats what my stupid father did. so now got problem, i duno where to send the damn fucking thing to get it fixed. ya cheaper, and lousier too. fuckfuckfuck.
i need a nintendo ds lite in my life too. and my next paycheck goes into that as well. i need something to poke my frustrations away. cos screaming at my now defunct pc doesnt seem to help. i tried smacking the sides of the cpu. doesnt work either. now i wanna douse the whole damn thing in gasoline and set it on fire. tmd. oh yes, i need to ds lite to occupy my time too, when dar doesnt have time for me.
i need a bicycle in my life soon as well. need to start cycling to diff parts of choa chu kang to burn some fats. dont ask me to run. id rather die. so cycling is a better exercise alternative. i need effing lose some effing fats. ive got another 6 -7 months to succeed. kill me pls.
i need a new job, officially. every other day spent in this hellhole is a torture. not the colleagues, but the job itself, and the superiors. its the weekend again! yayness! im currently craving crystal jade ginseng chicken. see lah! early i the morning and im already thinking about what to have for lunch. omg. fat fat me. how to lose weight like that!!!! 我的天啊!!!!
i've been watching 爱杀17 recently. so addicted! not some sappy love story 偶像剧, but a thriller! me and dar have been so hooked that we're watching it diligently every night till bedtime. im left with 3 more discs, then off it goes to mabel!
sidenote, this vcd set was bought at a steal, for a v good cause. sometime ago mediacorp held this 娱乐大间事 at ngee ann city. they set up a booth selling mediacorp artistes pass-me-downs and watnots for charity, to raise funds for the 四川灾民. in the clutter i actually found this gem of a 偶像剧, selling for $5!!!!!! not that im ngiao abt doing charity but really, its a total steal. and wats more, i can do my part for charity! ok im not some rich bitch who spends my father's money like theres no tomorrow, and i acutally work to earn my own spendings, so $5 is small, but nevertheless still significant. a little bit can go a long way right? ok im digressing too far off the main topic already.
so back to 爱杀17!! its sooooo addictive!!! im been wanting to watch this 偶像剧 for eons, and finally ive got my chance. the suspense is killing me!!!! who killed who, who is who, who pretends to be who, and who isnt who we thought was. the show has been leaving me in squeals and screams, and alot of "我的天啊!" and "OH MY GOD!!!!" ive been guessing who is the killer since disc 1 and im still not sure. ok im gonna stop talking abt 爱杀17 already. imma finish the whole damn series by this week!!!

well, i was reading today's papers and found out that FIR was coming to town for a concert. considering that me and dar kinda like most of their songs, i was contemplating about whether i shld get us a pair of tickets to their concert. within 10 mins, i made a purchase online. haha. talk about impulsive buys. hurhur. well, at least i didnt get the most expensive seats right? hahaha. i hope their concert is worth my impulsiveness :)

i can speak better than i can write. that's a fact. i hope my writings didnt fail me TOO BADLY yesterday. i can only cross my fingers, toes, tongue, watever i can cross i will cross, and hope that everything went well.
bumped into a few of the 唯我独尊 contestants yesterday. the girls r quite pretty. EXCEPT for a certain black and skinny chao ah lian. dun even know what she's doing in the semi finals. she farglee, and speaks weird, and totally cant dance and wanna act like she can. urgh. gives me goosebumps (in the wrong way) whenever i see her perform. eew.
i missed Elvie terribly yesterday. ive been having a discussion with my mum and we both badly want another puppy in the home, to add some life to the quiet house. the house was so lively when Elvie was around. even my loner of a brother would join us in the living room to play with Elvie. but no puppy would take the place of Elvie in my heart. i just miss the lil one so badly last night i couldnt fall asleep. kept tinking abt his little paws, wet nose, bright eyes, and curly fur. really didnt expect my first pet to go so wrong. i curse those petshop owners to death really. may they be bankrupts for eternity. but now im so cautious of all the different pple out there selling toy poodles alrdy. so worried the same thing might happen all over again. sellers r so unreliable nowadays. and whats with the outrageous overpricing of puppies! goodness...
counting down to holiday in koh samui. yay! thinking of a cheap holiday end of the year cos we've got plans beginning of 2009 which will cost us quite a bit. TAIWAN AGAIN!!! i will never get sick of taiwan. HEHEHE! i love taiwan!!!

i missed Elvie terribly yesterday. ive been having a discussion with my mum and we both badly want another puppy in the home, to add some life to the quiet house. the house was so lively when Elvie was around. even my loner of a brother would join us in the living room to play with Elvie. but no puppy would take the place of Elvie in my heart. i just miss the lil one so badly last night i couldnt fall asleep. kept tinking abt his little paws, wet nose, bright eyes, and curly fur. really didnt expect my first pet to go so wrong. i curse those petshop owners to death really. may they be bankrupts for eternity. but now im so cautious of all the different pple out there selling toy poodles alrdy. so worried the same thing might happen all over again. sellers r so unreliable nowadays. and whats with the outrageous overpricing of puppies! goodness...
counting down to holiday in koh samui. yay! thinking of a cheap holiday end of the year cos we've got plans beginning of 2009 which will cost us quite a bit. TAIWAN AGAIN!!! i will never get sick of taiwan. HEHEHE! i love taiwan!!!
