the best way to spend a weekend - stay home!

since im working in town 5 days a week, it kinda sucks to be in town again over the weekend. so me and darl decided to spend it in homely cck! :)

amazingly, i decided to do some swimming!! like SERIOUSLY swimming and not just soak myself there and get piggy backed by darl. im so proud of myself!!! i felt so good about it that i made myself a promise to go swimming every weekend from now on.

after i long debate about whether it was a waste of money, we finally decided to give "Big Sweet Land" a shot. no idea wat that is? its that machine u see in major arcades. the ones with the scoop and a whole lot of sweets. u gotta scoop the sweets on this mini platform, and use the pushing thingy to push the sweets onto the little tab at the end of the platform. every time u succssfully hit the tab, the roulette spins and u climb the scale by either 1, 2 or 3 notches. if ure lucky u'll hit jackpot and get the big stuffed toy at the top. otherwise u gotta slowly climb the scale till u reach the jackpot, which in this case will cost u much more $1 coins.

we managed to get this huggable stuffed eeyore and a whole bagful of sweets for $20plus!! *grins*

the last situation i can expect, is for my own MOTHER to be hooked on it. she spent $40plus to get this even huge-er stuffed hamster!! (and a bigger bagful of sweets) she says its all for the spur of the moment and once in a while enjoyment. i agree!! LOL.

27th August 07 - 7 months.
after seven months of being sayang-ed and pampered like a princess, i think i shld really 'return the favour'. so this thursday, its my darling's turn to be treated like a prince. after all, the sweet one deserves it so much! hehe. not gonna spill the beans on wat it is, in case he decides to spy on my blog and find out. *grins* will update again.

got back from a crappy trip from genting. nothing great. the only good stuff worth mentioning is probably our 1 day of rides after rides, screams after screams at the outdoor theme park.

stuff to frown about:
-lousy coach rides
-lousy dinner service
-lousy hotel room
-lousy indoor arcarde

to top it off, darling's cash and a brand new HTC palmtop - STOLEN!

definitely a trip not worth taking and talking about.

however i do feel the heartache for my poor dear. he was hoping for a good time off for both of us at genting. and after paying for the trip in full for the BOTH of us, he goes on to lose his cash as well as his beloved HTC. i was feeling so upset for his "loss" can.
